Pros

None. The platform was too complex, the sales pitch was good, but what you actually sign the contract for is less than the add-on costs for each module that they don't disclose on the front end.

Cons

The introductory sales call provides pricing for the size of your business. Then, over the course of the 12-week onboarding program (overly time-consuming), they reveal that you will be paying (thousands) more for each add-on module (ie marketing, phone, etc.)

ServiceTitan is a wonderful software!

Pros

ServiceTitan is a great software. We use it at work and I love learning new things all the time. It has simplified so much for our company. It is easy to learn and easy to use.

It has helped us grow our customer database and reach our existing customers to be able to better inform them when a technician is scheduled, coming to their home and even follow up afterward. Our technicians love it as well and it gives us in the office all the information we need to keep our database up to date.

They offer so many ways to dive deeper into the software and learn from each other including SparkSessions, EmberSessions and Torch Network.
I would recommend ServiceTitan.

Cons

I haven't found anything I dislike at this time.

Pros

Like the fact that Service Titan if always trying to grow in there ability to make system advances. The memberships are easy to create and monitor.

Cons

I wish that more of the Pro products were available to everyone and were a part of the standard package.

Cons

The reporting functions leave something to be desired. It is a bit difficult at times to get reports the way I want them.

We have been using Service Titan since Late 2019 and it has completely changed how we run our business. We would not be where we are today without the amazing features of Service Titan, and it is great to know that these features are all backed by an amazing team for onboarding, ongoing success and they have programs to help educate you on the program to get the most value for your spending.

Service Titan Consolidates so many aspects of running a business into one easy to use platform.

Our overall experience with ServiceTitan has been really great! It is the best software by a long shot! It is pricey but you certainly get what you pay for.

Pros

We love how easy ServiceTitan makes things on our customers. Automated text messages when a technician is on the way, ability to pay their invoice online, and fast online scheduling with real time availability makes us very simple to do business with!

Cons

The implementation and setup is quite the process. New feature onboarding requires a lot of research and figuring out for yourself. ServiceTitan helps as much as they can but not having a dedicated account rep anymore makes this a little challenging.

It's been a game changer for us. We use a few of their pro products from marketing to vehicle tracking. We can see at any given moment how the business is performing operationally.

Pros

Payment processing is very valuable. So much time is saved by customers going online to make payments and not tie up anyone on the phone. Our technicians can easily take cards and mobile capture checks in the field for next day depositing.

Cons

Construction estimating and some other features that go along with this are not where they need to be yet, but they are working on enhancements all the time.

Overall, Customer service has been pretty responsive, although not always able to provide a viable solution or work-around to issues. The software itself is robust to the point of being overly so. There are a ton of features. The Pricebook alone has a ton of aspects we continue to underutilize such as product images, recommendations, and templates. It took a ton of work to get everything setup and running the way we want and there is still a lot of room for improvement. The best part about ST is the community. Between Facebook groups, forums, networking events and new ideas within ServiceTitan, somebody has an answer to your issue 95% of the time. The financing integration has really helped our technicians help more of our customers as well.

Pros

I believe ST works diligently to add new features and expand existing features. Some oversight may exist on fixing bugs or addressing issues. ServiceTitan has more functionality than most other CRMs, but the more complex something is, the more issues there can be. ServiceTitan has absolutely given us a better grasp on business operations and helped us increase our revenue.

Cons

Location being required for field staff is a huge battery drain on devices and not a function we need for the software to work as we intend it, especially as the dispatch map doesn't update in real time.
The software is very expensive and requires a large investment to make someone a "Managed Tech" meaning it is restrictive for certain roles in our organization.

Both companies I have worked for saw major improvements after switching software. Service Titan provides a level of detail that the other systems were missing.

Pros

Service Titan is excellent at keeping everything organized. I have worked for two different companies that switched to Service Titan. It vastly improved our customer service and efficiency.

Cons

The customer service over the years has not been great. I know they are working to improve it though. Also there are some great features that are hidden unless you ask your CSM to turn them on. There should be more discussions or annual reviews about features that companies could add to improve quality of life without the customer having to ask or research on their own.

ServiceTitan was my first experience with scheduling software, it was pretty easy to learn and mostly intuitive.

There are so many learning paths offered to you as a user and depending upon how you plan to utilize the software, you can start basic, and when you are ready to dive deeper into it to maximize the software - you can do that too. I have not yet found a limit to how much I can learn with it.

The customer notifications are amazing. The customer receives a text and email notification when the appointment is booked, as well as a reminder the day before the appointment. When our technicians dispatch to a customer, the customer receives a text message and the techs picture. The tech also calls the csutomer through ServiceTitan (all calls are recorded). We've received such good feedback from customers, they are always in the loop regarding their appointment. I love it.

Pros

Titan Advisor and the support system. Titan Advisor is AI and is there to help you know what features are available to you based upon how you are using the program. They don't release all features to you up front, but as you find what you need in your business, your CSM team can help you through activating features and answering questions. Whenever I have questions, there is someone there to help me though it.

Cons

The mobile app seems to have hiccups from time to time, most of the time it works fine, but when it has hiccups it can be frustrating for the technicians in the field.

We have to delete the app and reload it more often than I would like, just to make sure we have the most up to date version of the app.

I know they are in the process of updating and redeveloping the mobile app as well as updating to have off-line functions for when we travel outside of good internet service areas. We are looking forward to this update. They are always accepting of feedback and are working to make it more seamless.

I'm glad to be past the implementation stage. Due to the cost of their add-on components, I am open to looking at other solutions, but it would take a lot for me to propose a change.

Pros

As a cloud-based software platform designed for trades businesses, I really appreciate ServiceTitan's comprehensive solution, seamless integration, and industry support. It’s been a game-changer for managing our operations and improving customer experiences.

Cons

This is an expensive solution with a steep learning curve. Reporting is okay, but if you're looking for trends, good luck. Also, once you're set up, you'll want additional functionality, which ServiceTitan is happy to provide, at a significant additional cost.

My Service Titan experience over the last 21 months.

Pros

I like most about Service Titan the ability to access job history including notes and pictures. I also find useful the amount of technician performance data that Service Titan allows me to access, such as billable efficiency.

Cons

One challenge to using Service Titan would be the initial learning curve and then navigating the seemingly endless features fluidly.

Pros

Most of the features of ST are fairly self explanatory. This is a bonus if you're a "click around and find out" type who would rather see and do everything themselves.

Cons

While the broad functions of ST are easy to use and understand, as you dig in, you'll find many tiny intricate tweaks that could be made to improve overall daily use.
