Ease of use, the free use of some tools is very good, they have a wide range of tools available.

Licensing cost for Auditor, charging for every person in AD is crazy expensive when you have 1000's of accounts.

I liked I could get reports on who made changes to everything on my domain. I knew when someone adjusted a group policy, created a user, or made a change in SQL.

We set this up to monitor employees only. We did not want to monitor students or service accounts because of the extra cost. The count on the user side showed 2000+ and we were not licensed. I opened a support ticket with the company and was told not to worry about it because it would just not monitor any user because of the license. I didn't like the answer, but it was still monitoring so much more. Then a year later I was hit with a huge bill because we had 2000+ people being monitored. We decided to just turn of the service.

The ability to audit and management multiple assets in the same umbrella.

Trouble shooting can be a little tricky and most of the time starts with reading KB articles.

I like how reliably it reports all Active Directory changes

Setting up permissions for file servers manually because our team didn't feel comfortable allowing Auditor setting perms automatically.

That it keeps a log of changes done on the network, specifically active directory.

There isn't much that I don't like about the product.

Netwrix Auditor gives me unique insight into my environment. It catches and makes me aware of many things I don't have the manpower to catch on my own. It is an extremely useful tool.

Some of the reporting causes a excess in alerts.

The whole product does very well in my auditing needs. I mainly use AD side.

I have not had anything yet that I did not like about the product.

How there are a lot of options in regards to monitoring

I hope AI can be incorporated to Netwrix

Integration with the Microsoft Active Directory and other products like IIS, SQL Server.

Price and renewals can cause budget issues

The reporting configuration was easy and the documents were well written. AD linking was easily configured for LDAP.

The dashboard is clunky and it is hard to see the auditing reports and other dashboard items.

Netwrix Auditor makes every compliance and tracking option efficient.

Netwrix Auditor is determined in creating suitable network control.

Customization and options are good when setting up all the alerts

Some detail missing from alerts, have to dig into a problem to find the root of the problem in the description

It gives great details on the information that matters to you.

Could use a little more granularity and some customization.

I Like the versatility and thoroughness of the information it provides

The interaction with other security tools. Its a bit "noisy"

The Password Reminder feature is a nice add on to the product to notify users of upcoming password expiration.

Overall, Netwrix Auditor is a mature product. No complaint of any features.

The Reports we get every day for our monitoring plans

Some monitoring plans won't work or you need to do a workaround to make it to work.

Great functionality, very reliable, user-friendly interface.

If anything it is a little TOO robust, a lot of data to sift through but not really a negative.

Logs on files and devices usage making us able to literal Audit certain issues

I would see some dashboards with relevant information at glance

Netwrix is useful for real time auditing and getting notifications when certain pre defined rules have been met.

It is not as straight forward to setup as other options, data is not as straight forward.

The premade templates provide great examples of what this tool is capable of.

Creating custom queries has a high learning curve.

I like how it has a security dashboard built in automatically.

Sometimes the connections break, and I'm not sure why.

I like that i can run custom reports on the fly.

The menus could be a little less complicated to navigate but still not bad

There is nothing I don't like about this product as of yet.

nothing at this time. we just purchased so need more time to use
