Resman is easy to use for everyday simple task and very efficient, the problem I have experienced is not being able to correct a mistake or back up when needed simply and quickly.
Overall I would absolutely recommend this software to other property management companies.
Pros
I love that it is so easy to navigate. I will be paying bills and need a GL Code, so instead of pulling out the list you can just put like paint in the search bar and get the Code you need. Simple and efficient I like that our background screening and rent payment site is accessible within Resman. I love the little lizard guy.
I like that you can stroll over something and get an explanation of it's function, that is wonderful.
Cons
I have no way to back up, so I have to pull the addresses back up while working in them. I do not like that you cannot just enter someones phone number without getting their birth date and social, it will not let you save the number without it and some people don't like providing that info when all you really need is an updated contact number. I have had issues when trying to take a roommate off the lease and creates an accounting nightmare that I have yet to be able to correct.
When doing the move out reconciliations I have found that a simple mistake will create double charges.

Overall, I think ResMan is TRYING to get in the game, but I wish it could happen a little(or a lot) quicker. Our account rep and support team are always great, they really do try their best to make all of our Property Management Softeware dreams come true.
I REALLY want to love ResMan, I am hopeful that the future will show some drastic improvements!
Pros
It is somewhat easy to use, the dashboard is attractive and doesn't look sterile and cold like OneSite. The support team needs to be larger, but the team they have definitely does their best to react quickly and puts in requests for enhancements when we can not be helped. They are always friendly and upfront on what is coming and what they are trying to improve.
Cons
Too much double work, for instance to add lease term options you must add the property to the lease terms desired under Admin, Settings AND add the lease term under Property, Unit Type. As an Admin that the Regionals/Site Team depend on it is imperative that requests be taken care of swiftly and almost every task in ResMan requires an absorbent amount of time on the back end.
Easy Lease, there is nothing easy about this.... from the set up to the use at the site level. Entarata has been my favorite with inline applications/leasing as far as ease of use and customer experience. Real Page wins over ResMan in this area as well.
It feels like the software was designed by out of industry people, alot of things just don't make sense. For example if you want to require that applicant's enter their email address to complete the application(which OF COURSE this should be a required field when you are using online lease forms/apps) you can not exclude non-lease holders or children. Everyone in the household has to have an email entered....

Pros
It is perfect for managing your rental properties, easy to use and it can easily integrate with a lot of softwares and websites.
Although some features are limited, especially bulk add/change features, they listen to our suggestions and consider those for system upgrades.
Cons
There are times when the support team is not that helpful but they do have a really nice Help Center where you can search for topics that may have the answers to your questions by simply typing in keywords.

I love all of the reporting options and having the data readily accessible. It has made my life so much easier.
Cons
Onboarding. Too fast and furious for beginners. I had to hire an outside vendor to help me process all of my data.

It’s great that it's easy to use, even though the occasional slowness can be a bit of a hiccup. Are there any features you find particularly useful or ones you’d want to see improved? It seems like a solid tool for managing leases and tenant info!
Cons
But it’s great that the interface is easy to navigate and that importing info is straightforward. It’s always nice when a system is intuitive, even if it could use a little speed boost.

Pros
I love that it combines my Application/Lease software, screening software and payments into one program and I am not having to go to each individual one.
Cons
In invoices if you have a credit due to a return you have to go and back out the original payment so it can be applied to that transaction vs just being able to select one that has already been paid out.

is the reason we stay with Resman. She has and continue to Manage us through any hurdles. The Software is the best option in the industry in my experience and I have used Real Page, Yardi, MRI, and other products and hands down Resman is the best experience.
Pros
Boardroom based single landing page for functionality. Keep the system this way or it will become Yardi, Real Page, MRI, and they are terrible user experiences.
Cons
Resman is growing fast and you need to make sure you hire and fire the correct people so that you Brand continues to strengthen.

we love the online features, as a business continuing to grow Resman feels like it has grown with us, there really is nothing lacking that I can think of
Pros
the features are very easy to navigate and almost everything we can do as an admin, there are a few times we have to call just because it is something out of our ability but when we do call everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. I believe that the customer service has grown alot in 3 years before it was hard to reach anyone but now it is very efficient.
Cons
so far you all have kept the pace with other software, the ease of Resman is very nice to work with

I just began my career with my new company and there is a lot going on. Not having to deal with " kinks " and " glitches " while using this software has save my brain cells.
Pros
I LOVE ResMan ! I have been in the industry for 25+ years, and this is the easiest property management software I have ever used. I really enjoy the lay out of the TABs and the fact that the landing page is not so crowded as it is with other software. I also like the taskbar at the bottom which helps me to prioritize my morning.

Resman is Constantly updating their software, fixing "bugs", and the help page is an amazing asset that i'm constantly using.
Cons
When creating a new Templet for the residents which includes Emails form and Text form, there is a 160-letter MAX allowed and it's very frustrating to me.

It is user friendly software. I taught myself how to use Resman. I have been on 3 or 4 other software's before. From MIA to several Versions of Yardi, To OneSite. Resman has my vote hands down. I am in no way a computer whiz. But with Resman, it gives me confidence I can do my Job to the best of my ability.
Cons
The thing I dislike the most if I have to pick something is to me when I am using the text feature trying to go back and see what you have texted is a challenge clicking the mouse just so in the right place.

ResMan Makes the World a Better Place

Pros
Regarding the ownership side of multifamily, ResMan makes managing and overseeing the assets so much easier and efficient. I have experienced using almost all of the property management software platforms and ResMan is by far the most functionally competent one out there.
Cons
My only con is that all of my assets aren't using ResMan, working on making this change mandatory.

Pros
Resman is easy to use, and if I cannot figure something out, the library of information is plentiful. It is easy to search and find the relevant information I need. Customer Service is top-notch. There are many other services that integrate with Resman. Overall, this is the best property management system that I have ever used and I have been in the industry just shy of 20 years.
Cons
Sometimes it will glitch and if a manager and I are sharing screens, I may not have the same updated data. This is easily resolved by restart or a fresh day.

Resman financial reporting review

Pros
It is very easy to use, what I like most is that any payments can be linked directly to bank account and any movements in financials are reflected directly in the financial statements and supporting reports.
Cons
There are times especially month-end when Resman takes time to load the screen but totally understandable especially if there are a lot of users accessing the site.
