All of the best of Gmail, with an email app like you're used to.
Reviewed on 21/01/2021
Kiwi was easy to setup, easy to use, and the options are in simple english and make sense. I would recommend Kiwi to anyone who uses Gmail.
Pros
I've always used an external email app - Eudora, Lotus Notes, Outlook, etc. When faced with using Gmail, the idea of having to keep remembering to have a browser window open all day was quite frustrating. I searched for some options and came across Kiwi. Kiwi was simple, and provided enough features to give me the standalone feel, but the power of Gmail. I really like that I can manage multiple gmail accounts in one program. Better than having multiple browser tabs open all day!
Cons
There are a few features that have been in development - such as calendar notifications. Sometimes it takes a bit of time for new features of Gmail to be added to Kiwi, but, usually there is an update made available quickly.

The Best Way To Use Google Apps On Your Mac
Reviewed on 02/03/2021
I use Kiwi to manage all my Google stuff on a daily basis. I think the Kiwi for G Suite upgrade is the best way to do that today.
Pros
I love the freedom of having a dedicated desktop app for all the Google services I use - Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Calendar, and Contacts. I've tried Mailplane (which is my second favorite app), Airmail, and a variety of other apps but Kiwi for G Suite has the best implementation. Airmail looks cool, but the integration with contacts was not very good. Mailplane has very similar features as Kiwi for mail but lacks the other features for Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc. Even though Kiwi works like a desktop app it still integrates with Grammarly which I use all the time. So, for me, Kiwi for G Suite is the best way to interact with Google Apps on your Mac.
Cons
I wish it was easier to open up a reply composition window in its own detached window. Kiwi works exactly like Gmail in the browser. But I write long emails - like proposals - and would like an easy way to pop open a detached window for composing replies.

Just Misses the Mark
Reviewed on 09/02/2021
Kiwi claims to replicate the Gmail/Gsuite interface and for the most part, does. Unfortunately, the manner in which they integrate the parts and pieces forces just enough of a change in how I work that the software become obtrusive rather than assistive. Ultimately, I went back to forwarding all of the mail from one GSuite account to a primary account, and setting GSuite to "respond from the To account" which accomplished the majority of my goals without cost or additional software.
Pros
The software does what it says, allowing you to link and operate multiple GSuite/Google Workplace/Gmail accounts.
Cons
The interface is clunky. It is difficult to switch between accounts and know which account you are on. The overall effect feels more like having multiple accounts tossed open on a desktop instead of organized workspace. You could get more or less the same effect by having two browser windows open and clicking back and forth, without the additional software overhead.

GMail with a cherry on top!
Reviewed on 29/04/2022
It has changed my workflow. I recommend it to everyone and anyone who uses the Google Educational Suite. At first look, it seems like there isn't much difference between that and the standard Gmail app. But again its functionality and efficiency make everything accessible with a simple click of a mouse without launching new tabs, gobbling up RAM. Wonderful product!
Pros
Layout. The layout looks identical to your web-based Gmail suite, but its layout allows you to launch/create anyone of the Google Educational Suite items such as Docs, Slides, or Sheets from a simple click of the mouse on the left side of the page. It's a subtle but incredibly efficient use of space. This is such an underrated function. The right side of the panel is identical to Gmail and allows you to chat, and launch your calendar or Zoom/WebX easily without leaving the frame. The best part? It does all of this functioning as an application so it requires a fraction of the RAM typically needed to have all of these things up and running simultaneously.
Cons
I only use the free version because I do not need to integrate multiple accounts. If I were a system administrator or department head requiring me sync multiple email address accounts then I would certainly pay for it. So if I were looking for cons, perhaps a bit more customization across the board, but especially with the free version. There aren't many cons to this application.

Great tool for managing multiple gmail inboxes
Reviewed on 30/08/2022
Pros
I purchased Kiwi to be able to manage multiple inboxes across work and personal accounts. Kiwi makes it easy to switch between accounts and track multiple conversations. Overall, it takes gmail's already great features and adds to it. It's no longer necessary to change chrome or browser profiles in order to work with multiple accounts.
Cons
Though I like the integration of Google Suite, separate sheets, calendar view, docs, etc. get easily lost as they are buried in the kiwi icon. It isn't easy to simply switch between open documents/windows, etc.
The notifications icon for the different inboxes does not stay up to date so I have to click into individual accounts to check for new mail.

Please for the love of God add a way to login via browser
Reviewed on 30/08/2022
Pros
It's Gmail in a program. It allows me to have a bunch of email inboxes in one place.
Cons
Why does it not have a modern login utilizing a browser redirect? It bothers me immensely and I have considered abandoning the program due to this. At least have a way to tie in to a browsers autofill.

Kiwi puts the "suite" back in G suite
Reviewed on 26/02/2021
Overall I love the product and have recommended it to several colleagues.
Pros
As a long time MS Office user I found the switch to G suite painful when the last company I worked for moved us over in 2017. Fortunately I found Kiwi which actually makes the Google apps work together and feel like a suite. The email interface is also a vast improvement.
Cons
There are times when it freezes up and I have to exit and restart.

Great way to have GMail on Mac OSX
Reviewed on 07/04/2021
Pros
This does an awesome job of allowing you to use Gmail in a dedicated application on MacOSX instead of just having a webpage open. I like the ability to quickly switch between services (calendar, email, docs, etc)
Cons
Copy & Paste without formatting doesn't seem to work.
I wish calendar would just open the same window instead of a new window every time.
Some links should actually open in the web (for instance data studio reports) rather than in their web viewer.

Extremely satisfying.
Pros
Kiwi allows me to keep an eye on my multiple Google Suite accounts with ease. It never feels anything less than full-featured, and with nine email accounts currently linked to it, I never feel as though it's slowing down my computer.
Cons
I can honestly say there isn't anything I dislike about it. It does exactly what it says on the tin and that's exactly what I needed.

Excellent Email Management Solution
Reviewed on 25/03/2021
Kiwi has overall been a joy to work with - I recommend it to all of my colleagues looking for a better way to manage their inbox.
Pros
I love having a separate application to effortlessly manage my gmail from my desktop. Chrome quickly becomes overwhelmed with tabs throughout the day, and it can be difficult to keep track of that one tab containing the emails I need to see. Additionally, notifications (both badges and banners) work much better from Kiwi than it ever did when I was trying to use that browser tab, so I miss far fewer emails and meetings than I was before trying Kiwi.
Cons
I wish there was an option to take a gdrive page that's already open in a Kiwi window and have it open in my default browser if I realize whatever I need to do would be simpler in a full browser. I've also noticed that I don't always remember I have the calendar open already and manage to open 4 - 5 separate instances of the calendar and have to close them all.

Kiwi for Gmail review
Reviewed on 02/03/2021
I'm using this tool very often in the last years, is stable and very useful mixing the powerful of google services used like a desktop application.
I had a couple of issues but the support provided me a workaround soon and the fix in few time, so awesome.
Pros
It's easy to use and I like a lot to open mails, calendar, drive, documents and other google services in a dedicated window, like a desktop application.
This tool allow the user to use the full features available in gmail as a desktop application
Cons
As an improvement, I'd like to have google keep and google meet manageable in a separate window like for calendar for example, moreover will be nice if it can be available on Linux

The missing frontend for G Suite
Reviewed on 23/01/2021
I was a lifelong Microsoft Office and Outlook consumer. When my company moved us over to G Suite, I struggled for more than a year trying to settle in with G Suite in a browser. Within a month after moving over to Kiwi for G Suite my day to day efficiency sky rocketed.
Kiwi for G Suite does exactly what a ChromeBook does, it separates the internet browser.
Pros
Working out of a browser to compose emails, spreadsheets, documents and slides is not intuitive or conducive to productive work flow. Kiwi for G Suite puts all where they belong; out of the internet browser. If you are working from macOS, the Kiwi interface feels native to the Apple experience.
Cons
The only thing lacking is a way to launch Google documents from the native OS browser into Kiwi for G Suite.

Handle Multiple Gmail Accounts Effortlessly

I've been very pleased with the ability to easily manage multiple work and personal mail accounts with Kiwi. The application is stable and reliable. There are periodic updates for any issues discovered by publisher.
Pros
Kiwi has a great user interface and allows me to easily manage six different gmail accounts. The color profiles provide aesthetic and more importantly, efficient visual indicators of different inboxes and calendars. Kiwi also offers support for popular extensions and plugins for virtual meeting scheduling.
Cons
Fans of dark mode will be disappointed in Kiwi's less than full adoption of a dark interface.

Good GSuite Email Client

Been a user for probably 3 or 4 years now and I can't live without it. I hate using gmail in a browser.
Pros
Allows you to have mailboxes and all of the other GSuite/Workspace functionality for an account all in one place. You can have multiple accounts setup in tabs and when you click the button for Drive/Calendar/Docs etc. it will open it for the account that you're tabbed into.
Cons
Sometimes Printing can be a little wonky. I can't use the back button on my mouse to go back to the inbox listing from an email anymore.

Pros
Kiwi is extremely easy to setup and use - download, install, add one or more Google accounts, and you are ready to roll! Kiwi offers great customizations in the app itself, and also has plugins to extend the default functionality. A great way to bring GMail to your desktop!
Cons
The only nitpick is that there is no option to choose whether to open GDocs/GSheets/... links within Kiwi or within a browser; I prefer to edit docs in a full browser rather than within Kiwi itself.

Super response customer and tech support. Going above and beyond - [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] with clear communication and expectations. They are a start-up and grinding it out the right way listening to power users.
Pros
I use a Mac Pro. Seamless Integration to Gsuite, few hic-ups with Grammarly but corrected quickly once identified by the development team. UX is highly intuitive, switching between multiple Gmail accounts is magnificent along with file transfer feature ( currently not working, needs an update following Mac updates)
As promised the UX brings all the familiarity of a client host in Gsuite, mail, instant access to drive calendar docs. Overall a massive productivity enabler vs. multiple Gsuite tabs open all day.
Cons
There are lags occasionally, calendar functionality could use some work. Opens up multiple windows every time you want to make entries. Add ons need to be expanded and the development + product team needs to be AHEAD, keep up and communicate to users with PC /Mac upgrades that cause problems.
Apart from that, I am thoroughly impressed by the flawless experience UX CX
