Have used this now for over 2 years and it is far superior to other sites we have used, be it easier and the data you can get from it is excellent.
Pros
Easy to operate and supply all the information along with receipts to Head Office. It even tells you if you have submitted a receipt twice.
Cons
Uploading receipts can be a bit clunky and could be done from the main screen.

Overall, there's some archaic methods of entering claims and receipts that damper the user experience. For a modern app and website, the user experience should be more enjoyable and intuitive. It makes me dread having to do expenses.
Pros
I do like that there's a mobile app version and I find it easier to use.
Cons
There are several non-intuitive and frustrating aspects of submitting claims and receipts.
For example, when I upload a receipt unattached to a claim, but with all of the information within the receipt fields (like amount, date, etc.), the 'Add to Claim' button is always grayed out and I am unable to add a receipt to the claim without first adding a claim item to the claim, filling out all of the information I already filled out in the receipt, then selecting the receipt to attach to the claim item.
I also cannot just add a receipt to a blank claim item and have the receipt information copied over. Instead, I have to fill out all of the required fields of the claim item before I'm allowed to save. Then, after adding the receipt, all of that information is going to be overwritten by the receipt anyways.
Also, when adding a receipt, you cannot select from the phone's gallery on your mobile app unless its not within a claim and not on the main menu screen. You have to go to receipts, then add item to have the option to select add from gallery. If I am creating a claim item and want to add a receipt within the claim item menu, I cannot select from files on my phone; the only option is a picture real-time. Its incredibly frustrating and not intuitive.

Not a lot. It hasnt crashed or lost items. But thats about it.
Cons
Its clunky, awkward, and aimply fails as a time saver. Other products are ligjt years better. Worst of all trying to record receipts and transactions as you go simply doesnt work properly when its time to reconcile and submit a report.

Contains everything in one place and allows management of multiple claims and trips in one go, allowing on the road usage and storage of receipts alongside use of categories to track spend and submit for approval. Once comfortable quick to use on a regular basis.
Cons
Initially a hurdle to overcome baseline knowledge and get used to system, but once done so then easy to use.

My overall experience with web expenses is a good one. It makes keeping track of travel expenses easy.
Pros
Web expenses is very easy to use and navigate. previous and current claims are easily accessed and dates of last and previous items added are clearly visible. Doesn't take very long to add a new item to the claim and is also easy to access through the mobile app.
Cons
very rarely we will experience web expenses not working. We are sometimes unable to add a new item to the claim when this happens. But it doesn't happen very often.

As a frequent traveller for work related activities I find WebExpenses invaluable for mobile receipt management. To have the ability to photo receipts direct to the app and then submit later when at your laptop makes life so much easier. I find the website a little less intuitive but I have got used to it over time and find it easier as time has gone on. All in all, very happy with Webexpenses, especially the receipt app management function.
Pros
Receipt management via the mobile application. Open the app, take a photo and it's there when you are ready to submit a claim. Losing receipts is a thing of the past now.
Cons
I find the website a little "clunky". The receipt picture stays open sometimes when you click to remind yourself what you're claiming. It has got easier over time but it could be more intuitive.

I am good in learning new software applications. So, there was a quick learning curve for me to be on board with the software which was a plus but in a long run so many features should be improved, I have used better applications but it does not matter if the development team listen to the feedback. I understand that it takes time for new applications to get better and there is always a list of features to be improved; However, if I were the product manager, I would start with a better UX design. I helped so many of my colleagues to tackle the normal problems they have, as it is not designed to have a smooth workflow.
Pros
Adding invoices by sending email and the feature of reading both forwarded in-text emails and attachments.
Cons
One transaction with multiple invoices (a very cumbersome method to tackle it). Always inconsistency/wrong in reading the received documents, i.e. image processing should be better. Makes the favourite part of using this software obsolete as I need to cross check every single of them. On top of that, to view in a bigger image of the invoice, every single document would be auto downloaded rather than be viewed.

Using Webexpenses to sign off expenses is fast and very easy to navigate. Easy to log in and find expenses that have been submitted.
Cons

It's user friendly. Each time i book my expenses it takes me less than a minute to do it.

Sometimes uploading the receipt as an attachement can be a bit tricky, otherwise, it's so easy to use.
