Pros

I really like how easy care patron is to use for the practitioner as well as the client coming into the practice. It has a lot of functionality and user friendliness and that’s what is really great about it.

Cons

The main thing that I don’t like about care, patron is how it’s difficult for my client to see when they next have appointments because then it does cause some issue and lateness were cancellations.

Pros

Carepatron is so user-friendly. It has everything you will need in respect of practice management. The customer service is top class! I have been recommending it to all my fellow therapists who equally love it. Clients have found it easy to access shared files. It really is the best, most versatile platform on the market that doesn’t cost the earth. Great for solo practitioners. Highly recommended.

Cons

On the rare occasion, it has been sticky loading templates on a mobile device.

Very disappointing that it was very difficult to use, didn't meet my needs. Felt that I wasted time trying to get it to work to some degree that was manageable.

Pros

It was easy to set up and appears to be quite cost effective.

Cons

1. Inability to have first and surname on the booking. Made the calendar very confusing and had to keep checking which client it was.
2. Inability to colour code appointments to see at a glance what contract they were through, whether it was a first appointment or a last appointment.

So far, so good! It has all my needs met with the monthly fees so I do not need to purchase additional features to operate keeping my costs low.

Pros

It has the features I want for starting my small business. I needed scheduling, appointment reminders, HIPAA compliance, record system, insurance compliance, flexibility with intake and note system, along with medical billing and telehealth capabilities at a reasonable cost.

Cons

I am newly using the system after having experience with another ehr system and having to get used to it.

Generally a positive experience and useful for the scale of my practice. There are certain features that would be welcome but the overall use of the platform is ideal.

Pros

1) synchronized usability - client file management, scheduling, and invoicing
2) ability to automate certain processes

Cons

1)Not enough document templates
2)Inability to upload existing forms bia copy/paste (without building a new form)
3)not being able to edit or personalize invoices or other documents

It has been easy to set up. However, some clients and staff have struggled in setting up their profiles.
Whenever I have had a problem, Carepatron have been relatively quick to support me.
Being able to book in appointments, send invoices and take payments as well as keep up to date records is very useful for my business and Carepatron have been able to provide this to me (mostly)

Pros

It was relatively simple to set up for myself

Cons

It is not as easy for others to set up and become a part of the team. I also cannot see what team members are up to in the diary which I thought I would be able to have oversight of the whole team.

I am impressed with what is accessible on the free plan. A great starter platform to start with, to become confident before committing bigger dollars for all the features or bigger teams.

Pros

Carepatron is an easy to use, all inclusive platform for client and staff appointment management, and I have tested a few. For what is available, at little to no cost provides a great starting platform for the newer and smaller organisations to get a start.

Cons

My only challenge is not being able to 'see' an email sent history anywhere. However, this is changing, and gmail can be synched. I don't use gmail for business purposes.

Pros

Easy to use and has almost all of the services I have been looking for in 1 platform. Customer service has been very responsive and helpful

Cons

No waiting room for the online video sessions which is necessary. Clients have a window that comes up that asks them to continue holding but have been kicked out or frozen and I have been on and so has a client but the client isn’t there. The video doesn’t work from the app version.
Re invoices: no option to edit what is on the invoice and no option to invoice monthly.

Carepatron have been very supportive right from enquiry through to ongoing use and is very responsive to requests.

Pros

I mostly use the calendar for appointment bookings and reminders and the notes features which saves me 1 - 1.5hrs time previously spent on this each week.
It was great that I could set-up with my most needed features and then develop use from that.

Cons

I'd like to take off the ability for the client to cancel appointments in the email reminder. I'd prefer that they have to contact me directly

Essential tool for private practice

Pros

All of the features on this platform are easy to set up, use and are essential to my business. Clients are able to schedule their own appointments which update my calendar. I am able to easily create documents and templates and manage my time more effectively.
Customer support have excellent communication and are available to help with any issues and do this very quickly.

Cons

Although I can create invoices, I do not use this feature as I currently use another platform that allows me to create invoices, receive payments and pay any taxes. If this was added to Carepatron, it would be the only platform I would need for all aspects of my business.

It has been beneficial having a free system to manage my caseload, schedule sessions with many different services offered, and have automatic reminders. The app and iPad functionality are less than desirable.

Pros

Having the system be free up to a certain storage is really welcomed for young small businesses.

Cons

As a paperless mobile practitioner I use my iPad for notes and this has been the biggest deterrent for using the system. The app does not do writing to text conversion very smoothly and you have to write very slow. Additionally app cannot be used offline.

+Simple layout that is easy to navigate and understand
+High customization for documents, fields in demographics sections, etc.
+Clients can self-schedule
+Clients have access to review my cancellation policies so they can't say "Oh I didn't know"

Cons

-I'd LOVE to see a section that you can build into the form where the client's name and record number (or other custom fields) would auto-populate to make things more efficient.
