Google Ads

About Google Ads
Google Ads (formerly known as Google AdWords) is an online advertising solution used to manage PPC (pay per click) ad campaigns. With this solution, users can create a Google ad with your chosen company details, such as keywords, ad text, map, phone number, and company hours, or with simply some text and a link.
You can decide which keywords trigger your ad to appear, using the Google keyword bidding system to appear higher in search results for popular keywords. You then define a daily budget that will only be consumed once someone clicks on your ad or calls your phone number. You can also pay per impression (then number of time your ad shows) or per acquisition (conversions on your site).
Google Keyword Planner also has a column for forecasted CPCs and potential costings for the top and bottom ad positions. The overview also includes average monthly search queries as well as the strength of the competition. A competition index shows how heavily each keyword is advertised. Plans aim to monitor keywords, and thus, make predictions. Detailed information on countries, cities, and municipalities is available for each keyword.
This seamless integration means new ad groups can be created and new keywords saved. Users can call up Google Ads settings at any time. The tool provides a Keyword Planner API, which third parties can use to access Google Keyword Planner functions. This forms part of the Google Ads API. This API can then be used to generate and retrieve new keyword ideas.
You can run a basic ad campaign or use advanced features to set up a more extensive campaign. You can choose to show your ads on Google and the Google Network which includes Google sites like Maps and Shopping, as well as YouTube, Blogger & Gmail. You can also display your ads on websites your target audience visit, in specific locations, and to specific audiences.

Overall we're happy with Google Ads, it has almost always delivered results, however might be costly at times but I guess that's the down side of using the industry standard tools / Services.
Pros
In our opinion, Google Ads is the industry standard.
It's almost guaranteed it will work and deliver results. It's relatively easy to setup, especially with recent updates, integrating AI in the platform makes it more accessible.
Cons
Can be costly if not optimized right.
For beginners , it might be overwhelming to start with.

I appreciate the customization and smart AI features within Google Ads. The process of finding a set up that aligns with my goals is easy enough. It can be a lot to figure out for beginners (it was for me) but I recommend jumping in as soon as you can because, if you rely on internet traffic, it truly affects the growth of your business.
Pros
Thhis is essential to grow your business presence online. It's one thing to have your business listed on Google and its another thing to be capturing leads and actually selling through your online presence. Google Ads helps you grow, plain and simple!
Cons
You get as much out of it as youre willing to invest. I've seen benefits from setting up multiple campaigns with higher budgets and gaining quick growth. Yet, that is not necessarily sustainable. Success can come as slow or as fast as you want.

Google is not returning my credits for bad leads sent

I am not a happy customer and will seek relief if this is not resolved in short manner. If anyone else is experiencing this activity, feel free to comment. This could lead to a class action if this is normal business practice.
Pros
I had a nice lady who was willing to discuss my ad setup.
Cons
I received countless sales calls from vendors trying to sell me something rather than customer contacting me for my services. I was charged for the calls and then told I would get a credit back to my credit card as all of these calls were recorded. The account shows that I would get a credit since July of 2024, it is now September of 2024 and still no credit back to my card. On top of that all the bad leads have not been given a credit to the account. I have contacted them multiple times to resolve. I previously received a message that they could not credit my card back for some unknown reason, yet they can charge it. NO business has ever had this problem with providing my a credit on my card. complete BS and this is a large enough company that My bank would trust a credit from such entity.

Can be challenging to compare results without adequate training, but definitely worth the ad spend.
Can be challenging to compare results without adequate training, but definitely worth the ad spend.
Pros
We're very satisfied with the ROAS we're seeing with our Google Ads.
Cons
It's tricky for members of our marketing team to process all of the data, and we often have to rely on our technical team members for help.

Essential to Paid Media Efforts
Reviewed on 02/07/2024
Pros
Google is the most widely used search engine, so being present on this platform is vital to compete with our market rivals. Google Ads offers the ability to track results and the adaptability to create a distinctive marketing campaign.
Cons
The customer service could be significantly improved without requiring users to interact with numerous agents to accomplish anything. It can also be quite time-consuming to create an effective campaign. The use of negative keywords is essential.
