Calendly
About Calendly
Calendly helps individuals, teams, and organizations automate the meeting lifecycle by removing the back and forth with scheduling. Calendly’s cloud-based platform offers a new layer of the modern digital technology stack by connecting with critical tools to automate scheduling workflows, creates a more delightful customer experience, and provides insightful, measurable data to drive better business outcomes.
Today, more than 20 million users across 230+ countries use Calendly to simplify meetings, collaborate more effectively and efficiently, and drive business forward.
How it Works:
Calendly enables users to set their availability preferences, and then send out their own personalized invitation link to arrange meetings or appointments. The invitee is presented with a selection of available times and dates based around the user’s availability, and can make their choice from these. Users can create an unlimited number of different event types to suit their needs, set buffer time between appointments, and enforce a minimum scheduling notice period to prevent the last-minute booking of meetings.
Calendly allows users to set up and send out different invite types, giving invitees the opportunity to select the meeting format, which team member they wish to speak to, or both. Meetings can also be auto-assigned to any staff member available at the time an invitee chooses for their appointment. After invitees respond, they can be directed from the event confirmation page to the user’s site, or a custom ‘thank you’ page.
Calendly automatically sends out custom confirmation emails and event reminders to invitees, and notifies all meeting participants via email if an attendee reschedules. Integrations with Google and Office 365 calendars enable users’ calendars to be automatically updated, with Calendly checking for any booking conflicts before adding events.

While Calendly is a great tool for streamlining meeting schedules, we eventually moved to Google Calendar as it offered similar functionality with the added benefit of being integrated into our existing workflow. For those who need quick and simple scheduling, Calendly is still a solid choice, though upgrading to a paid plan may be necessary to unlock more features.
Pros
1. Very user-friendly and quick to set up
2. Simplifies scheduling by allowing users to share a link for others to book available time slots
3. Customizable booking options
Cons
1. The free version limits you to only 30-minute time slots, which can be restrictive for those needing more flexibility

I get a tons of meetings to handle in my workspace and Calendly takes care of scheduling and notifying me. I highly recommend it to anyone who has to handle many meetings.
Pros
I love how easy it is for someone to go through my pre made link to schedule a meeting at a time when I am free. I have to handle tons of meetings every week and handling all schedules can get hard but Calendly has made it easy. I just have a 30 minute meeting link that I have posted on my website and anyone who wants a meeting can directly schedule from there and I can get the meeting details. I really love this feature.
Cons
I can't think of any cons about Calendly but it would be better if the meeting scheduling page had few things for easy scheduling. Sometimes people struggle to successfully schedule a meeting because of many texts, buttons.
