About Calendly
Calendly is a powerful scheduling software for organizing meetings and appointments between individuals and their colleagues, and between organizations and their clients or customers.
More than 100,000 of the world's leading organizations rely on Calendly's flexible administrative tools, enterprise-grade security, and integrations with Salesforce, Zoom, Slack, Hubspot, and more. To see how Calendly can help you maximize your scheduling efficiency, contact our sales team for a demo.
How it Works:
Calendly enables users to set their availability preferences, and then send out their own personalized invitation link to arrange meetings or appointments. The invitee is presented with a selection of available times and dates based around the user’s availability, and can make their choice from these. Users can create an unlimited number of different event types to suit their needs, set buffer time between appointments, and enforce a minimum scheduling notice period to prevent the last-minute booking of meetings.
Calendly allows users to set up and send out different invite types, giving invitees the opportunity to select the meeting format, which team member they wish to speak to, or both. Meetings can also be auto-assigned to any staff member available at the time an invitee chooses for their appointment. After invitees respond, they can be directed from the event confirmation page to the user’s site, or a custom ‘thank you’ page.
Calendly automatically sends out custom confirmation emails and event reminders to invitees, and notifies all meeting participants via email if an attendee reschedules. Integrations with Google and Office 365 calendars enable users’ calendars to be automatically updated, with Calendly checking for any booking conflicts before adding events.

Best tool for virtual video/audio meeting booking platform

One of my clients wanted to make an appointment module on their website with can seamlessly integrate with Google Calendar and utilize their Google Meet subscription (which was available with Google Business). They wanted it speedy and fault tolerant. I came across Calendly via my friend, who is a Tarot card reader by profession, this work community used this service to create a page that displays their information, slot-wise options, collects payments, and also schedules based on availability. So overall my and my client's experience with Calendly was awesome, cost & time-saving, and efficient.
Pros
Calendly is an insanely awesome product (SaaS).
1) It helped me create a profile page with a service display.
2) It also provides a personal/custom branding option. (Yes, also in the Free tier)
3) Fault tolerant and efficient call/appointment booking with email clients like Gmail and Outlook.
4) Seemless slot booking and payment collection system with integrations.
5) I love the feature of embedding their iframe in any website.
6) Also, they provide a feature to edit URLs of our choice.
7) Their real-time reporting is also efficient.
All the above points are those which make this platform unique and awesome.
Cons
There are no visible cons to this product. Everything is amazingly great, but one thing which I noticed is after booking a call, I have set up redirection to my website, which takes almost ~20 seconds. This much time a visitor/user will not stay on the page. This needs to be fixed while separating the background process from the front end. Also, I would like to see a UPI payment collector in the integrations.

A Brilliant Way to Streamline Client Meetings

Overall I would say this software is a game changer for me, because it gives my clients a solid sense of my availability, allowing them to schedule a meeting with me anytime they want, among times that I pre-determined as available. I have more time to spend working on my business because I spend less time emailing clients about scheduling meetings.
Pros
Before Calendly, the task of scheduling a meeting with a client involved multiple back-and-forth emails, setting up a Calendar invite via Google, and possibly reminding the client prior to the meeting. After Calendly, I simply direct clients to my Calendly link, or provide in-email buttons to select a day and a time among a selection. Clients see this as a feature for THEM, because it also saves them time spent emailing me four times to determine a day and time that works. The built-in reminders are also helpful for both of us.
Cons
Sometimes the cut and past feature that allows you to integrate working buttons for people to select a day and time directly in the email does not work well with my email client (Airmail). This may be a problem with Airmail, though.

Calendly at best

Pros
It had a good GUI. Thatv was the one thing i can compliment the highest. And truly. Anything beyond that would be fabrication.
Cons
The way it did/ didn't sync with the remaining employees calendars. It was a nightmare, disrupted the entire office and created client upset because several people were double booked.

Calendly has switched a lot of our scheduling process to self service or automatic which has saved us a lot of time.
Pros
Calendly works the way I want it to and makes me have an easy well planned work day. It's not hard to use at all. I like the mobile app best.Scheduling is really easy, send a link through email to clients and they pick an available slot. They can schedule an online meeting too. Calendly works with Zoom and other miscellaneous products. I sync with Google.Calendly has a survey tool that works really well.
Cons
A good recurring booking option is something I want to see in the future. I'd also want to have better customer service.

I have generally had an easy time using Calendly. It has helped my business and staff.
Pros
The multi-calendar managment has improved the logistics of my business, as well as helped my staff manage their time with clients better.
Cons
At times it is tricky to input schedule times from the drop-down menu, but you can also do it manually. I would also need to convert the app to a 24-hour clock format.
