Omnigo
About Omnigo
Omnigo Software is a security management and incident reporting software that aids in identifying safety issues, trends and hotspots throughout an organization. Omnigo allows users to streamline the reporting process and produce a wealth of statistics for organizations such as hospitals, schools, corporations, government, casinos, and more.
The feature-rich solution conforms to the particular needs of various institutions due to its vast array of customizable modules. Omnigo adapts to a multitude of dynamic environments for security and law enforcement professionals. A few of Omnigo’s nearly 40 modules include traffic stop, arrest & booking, workplace violence, investigations, emergency response, equipment tracking and risk management.
Omnigo Software is cloud-based, which enables security officers to generate reports and write activity logs as incidents are happening, with any mobile device. The search function allows users to search several fields, whether they are looking for a vehicle license plate number, an individual’s name, or a particular location. Users can then view historical data and information related to those incidents and analyze patterns to know where repeated activities tend to take place, and with which individuals.
Report Exec's open database connectivity allows users to connect to a variety of different security solutions, programs and data sources. The in-house data conversion team converts an organization's existing data, and makes it accessible within the solution.

We chose Report Exec Enterprise several years ago as our first venture into computerized records management. We use the online version, i.e., do not use local servers for data storage. Overall the program is very good, although there are tweaks to the search functions that would make data extraction more accessible. I cannot say enough good things about the customer support team; I have them on the auto dial and they are always eager and competent to/in resolving our dilemmas.
Pros
Good price, dependable, off-site record keeping.
Cons
Supervisory data access via reports is limited, sometimes by presenting more data than we need and other times not enough. Also, the online instruction manuals are not always fully informative.

Great! I like it a lot.
Great! I like it a lot.
Pros
I like how you can go from the dispatch mode to the Officer mode mutated by the click of a button. So if I’m the dispatcher and I need to write a report as well this software can do that and much more. It handles all of our security and law enforcement needs.
Cons
There is a little bit of a learning curve at first but you can catch on pretty quick

I came into using Report Exec with a new job. Someone else had set it up and I found they didn't do a great job. After calling their customer service they were helpful in guiding me through making changes on the administrative side of the software. I still found the drop down menu pathways confusing for making changes or trying to find the right path to alter something. I went to one of the Report Exec training and was able to get a better grasp of navigating administrative changes. After cleaning up the software it is much easier for my staff and me to use. I think it would be great if there was a little more to the software in terms of adding functions, such as alerts or guidance when selecting certain incident types. Different organizations might have good use for this to help staff understand next steps when a certain incident occurs. I would like to see a Title IX integration just as there is Clery integration for Higher Ed. institutions.

I have been using it for several years. Most of it is very easy to use as a front end and as an administrator. The few issues we have had were addressed quickly by technical support.
Pros
Easy to use. Very flexible.
Cons
We have had a time stamp issue that has never been resolved. Other than that, it's good.
