EngageBay is an all-in-one marketing software which combines lead generation, email marketing, marketing automation, CRM, and social media engagement. Designed to help businesses to acquire, engage, nurture, and close leads, EngageBay allows users to create email campaigns and automate marketing processes and sales funnels. The cloud-based platform can be used to aid with growing leads, creating and automating the distribution of email marketing content, and managing customer relationships using the in-built CRM.

The unified marketing suite within EngageBay provides businesses with the tools to design, manage, and run customized marketing campaigns. Email campaigns can be built using the range of pre-designed email templates, or made from scratch using the drag & drop interface. Custom images, text, layout, share buttons, and more, can be added to email marketing templates in order to create a branded message to engage new or existing customers. EngageBay facilitates customer segmentation, defined by conditional metrics such as age, location, type of customer, purchase history, and more, in order to target specific subsets of users. Marketing campaigns can be automated by defining workflows and funnels, as well as setting up triggers based on customer actions. Custom web forms can be created and added to business websites to capture leads, and landing pages can be built to optimize clicks and conversions.

EngageBay offers an in-built CRM to help users organize their business contacts, manage relationships, and track pipelines. With both marketing and sales teams working within EngageBay, leads and contacts can be guided seamlessly through the sales pipeline using just one synchronous platform. Contacts can be managed with tools for creating contact lists, searching within the contact database, storing interaction history, activity logging, and more.     A dizzying array of tools in a nice, integrated package

    Pros

    The simplicity of connecting the API, the tracking tools, and the way that it manages to somehow pull together all the complex features needed into a single package and somehow make it appear that it's less complex than it really is. The capabilities here are astounding, but if the more complex things aren't needed, the system remains simple and straightforward.

    Cons

    It would be nice to be able to hide the links, tabs, and menus to things that aren't being used and re-add them if we decided to use them later. Also, the social media marketing only covers Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I'd really like to have a much wider selection.

    I was actually testing both simultaneously having ruled out several others already. This platform is just much easier to get going on with far less customization needed. But the ability to customize is there if I do need it.

    I've used this platform for about 6 months now. Once I got passed the warmup process there have been no limits. I highly recommend it.

    Pros

    I like the platform overall. I went in just expecting an email platform but have gotten so much more out of it. The landing pages and ability to bring in my own coding into their platform has saved lots of time for me. Their customer service is top notch and responsive.

    Cons

    It's not the BEST platform out there. And it's priced that way. No knock against it at all. The best platforms out there cost a fortune. This is the best bang for your buck you'll get anywhere bar none. If money is no object go someplace else. Pound for pound eEngagebay is the real deal.

    Both Brevo and Constant Contact had poor customer service. Their product was too limited and when you really wanted to use features in the product they had a new bundle for you to purchase. They were honest and their sales tactics were offensive.

    As an example, the system is totally useless, I have spent two weeks trying to get by all the non logic functions and bugs to even send a newsletter. I can't even filter on the objects attached to a contact.
    The Sync with Hubspot was a scam, we spent 20000€ to get our data over from Hubspot.

    I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Until the account is warmed up, we have a limit on how many emails you can send, just to ensure your domain reputation does not get impacted. Also, may I know what the issue was with the sync and who you paid the money to? We do not see any additional payments other than the subscription cost.

    I like pretty much everything about engagebay

    Cons

    i cannot put my similar automations into folders.
    i cannot search automations in the search bar
    Automations do not allow date finder however there is a work around for this so its not too much of a problem
