One of the major benefits of Vercel is, it helps do website hosting at a reasonable cost. This makes it the first choice for developers working with budget constraints and early stage developers.
Pros
Vercel really shines when it comes to security and performance. Their hosting infrastructure is very reliable, which gives me peace of mind for my projects.
The best part? You get all of these in very afforable pricing.
The Free Plan is really a life-saver.
Cons
It's not all perfect though. During my recent project, I ran into some limitations with their edge functions. Unfortunately, this meant I had to look for alternatives for that particular project.

It gave me basic idea about deployment and hosting of frontend, I learned lots of technical keywords and feature about deployment through it, like CI/CD, auto scaling, etc.
Pros
It is beginner friendly, as it gives git bash deployment. As well as it had easy on click CI/CD pipeline integration with makes deployment fast and automated.
Cons
It had limited backend support and was best suited for frontend applications.

I will use it for a small weekend projects but not for something production ready.
Pros
It's easy to get started if you are using NextJS which is their opinionated framework. They have cool tools for managing monorepos.
Cons
It's quite expensive. We tried to use it to host complex web app, at higher load we had undefined errors coming from their platform which they could not resolve. At that point we transitioned and never look back.

My overall experience with Vercel is really great. I've hosted dozens of Next.js projects there without any major issues and most of them for free. Although, I wish they had a pay-on-the-go plan without a fixed pricing.
Pros
I really like how easy it is to deploy my Next.js apps on Vercel. You just connect your git repository and in a few minutes your project is online.
Cons
Sometimes the deployments fail without any obvious reasons. Also, I really hate it when a request hits the serverless function timeout limit.
