You can create user groups to enhance internal networking and transform video tutorials into effective online learning courses. It also provides features for organizing and managing tests and evaluations on courses with final certification for users following a self-paced learning course.

> **Cons**: If you can read German, then you have lots of documentation. Not everything is translated. When users edit a competence profile, it is difficult for them to keep track of their progress. and they have no means to know when they have fulfilled a profile. Sometimes the PDF generated has errors.

ILIAS bietet zwahlreiche Funktionen zum kooperativen Arbeiten im digitalen Raum, für die Durchführung von E-Prüfungen und die Organisation von Kursen, erleichtern unsere Lehre erheblich.
Datenschutz und -sicherheit sowie Barrierearmut sind in den vergangenen Jahren noch wichtiger geworden. Gerade in diesen Bereichen sind wir mit ILIAS sehr zufrieden.
