Robust texting features, especially in comparison to what is offered by our electronic health record. Not only mass/campaign texting, but direct 1:1 texting. Ability to easily see reply texts (even on campaigns not intended to receive replies). From the patient standpoint, CareMessage is simply texting - no app, nothing new to learn. Makes patient engagement easier. (Note - CM does have a new app. We start out with SMS texting, and for very engaged patients who want to share more lengthy or sensitive information, we offer the app.) Condition-specific texting 'programs' (i.e. diabetes, pregnancy, smoking) send out a series of automated educational and motivational texts over a period of several weeks to months. > > **Cons**: Minimal reporting. Interface with our EHR primarily a demographics bridge; does not create/store the text thread in the EHR. > > As an FQHC, our mission is optimum health and wellbeing for our uninsured and underserved neighbors.
