## Overview

### Key benefits of Renviq

The rental day crosses six tools in most independent rental businesses: a spreadsheet for availability, a booking widget that stops at the reservation, a paper agreement at handover, a folder of PDFs, a card terminal and a chat thread. The money leaks in the seams between them — an extra nobody billed, a deposit nobody released, a damage nobody photographed.

One record instead of six tools. The booking carries the customer, the vehicle, the price it was quoted at, the inspection, the signed agreement, the invoice and the payment against it. Nothing is re-keyed, and every step leaves a record the next one can use.

Evidence instead of memory. A photo inspection at pickup and at drop-off, with damage markers and a signed agreement behind it, is what settles a dispute about a scratch. The alternative is two people remembering differently.

Deposits without cash or photocopies. The customer's card is held on file and re-authorised while the rental runs, then partially captured for what is actually owed. No envelope in a drawer, no passport photocopy, no forgotten release.

Payments that stay yours. Card payments run through your own Stripe account and Renviq takes no percentage, so a busy season costs the same subscription as a quiet one.

Filings out of work already done. For Spanish and Italian operators the government submissions come from booking data that already exists, rather than from a second system with a second login.

Three vehicle types, one subscription. Cars, motorbikes, scooters and boats live in the same fleet, priced and inspected with the same tools, which matters on a coast where an operator rents all three.

Priced by fleet size, not by feature. Every paid edition ships the complete product; only capacity changes. There is no tier that withholds the part needed to run the business, and a free edition covers two vehicles with no card and no expiry.

Card payments from renters run through the operator's own Stripe account. Renviq takes no percentage of them; Stripe's processing fee is the only deduction and Stripe charges it directly. A business taking EUR 40,000 over a season pays the same subscription as one taking nothing.

Billing is monthly or yearly, in euros. Yearly is charged at ten times the monthly price, so paying annually costs ten months instead of twelve. Prices exclude VAT where it applies. Subscriptions are handled by Polar as merchant of record.

The unit is vehicles, not users or seats. Staff logins are capped per plan but never priced individually, so taking on a seasonal employee in June costs nothing until the plan's user count is reached.

Free is a plan, not a trial: two vehicles, one user, ten bookings a month, no card and no expiry date. It is the only plan with a feature limit rather than a capacity limit, because it sends no email notifications — the platform mailer is a paid service. Everything else the product does is available on it within those limits.

The 14-day free trial on Pro and Max starts without a payment method, and nothing is charged when it ends. A trial that is not paid for drops to the Free plan rather than locking the account, and the data stays.

Plan changes are self-service from billing settings. An upgrade takes effect immediately; a downgrade applies at the end of the period already paid for.

Not included on any plan: a native mobile app — the product is a responsive web application — telematics or GPS hardware, a card terminal, a general accounting ledger, and government reporting outside Spain and Italy.
