Prove the work, not just the hours
Most time clocks tell you someone was on site. ShiftScan also documents what they did: checklists, photos, GPS position and a timestamp, chained cryptographically so no entry can be edited afterwards. Corrections are stored as follow-up entries, never as overwrites, which is what makes the record hold up in a dispute.

Stop losing arguments with your clients
Every client gets a read-only portal showing their own sites in real time, plus signed PDF records. The call that starts with "nobody came on Tuesday" ends with a link instead of a search through paperwork.

No app to install, and it works without signal
Staff clock in with an NFC tag, a QR code, a PIN or a fixed terminal. Nothing has to be installed on a private phone, which removes the usual resistance from seasonal and temporary workers. In basements and on new-build sites, clocking continues offline and syncs automatically once there is a connection.

Hosted in Germany, GDPR compliant with a data processing agreement and a published list of subprocessors, working-time checks based on the German Working Hours Act, audit logs, and e-invoicing in ZUGFeRD and XRechnung. Optional AI assistance runs on European infrastructure, with no transfer to the United States.

How the count works
You pay for active employee records, and the seat count stays in sync with them as your team changes. The minimums above are billing floors, not a limit: a Professional account with four employees is charged the EUR 29 minimum, and every employee beyond the sixth is added at the per-employee rate.

Free trial
Every feature can be trialled for 30 days without a credit card. When the trial ends, the account moves to the free Starter plan automatically. Nothing is charged unless you actively choose a paid plan, so there is no risk of an unnoticed subscription.

Included at no extra cost
Product updates, all 17 interface languages, the mobile web app with offline clocking, CSV and Excel import and export, the help centre, and email and chat support are part of every paid plan. Business customers additionally receive priority support. AI assistance is included where available and is not billed separately.

Optional hardware
NFC tags, QR labels and fixed terminals can be ordered through the in-app shop, but no hardware is required to start: QR codes can be printed on any office printer, and PIN entry needs no hardware at all.
