### Key benefits of SeatPlanning

Build the plan in minutes, not evenings. Instead of redrawing a diagram every time the guest list moves, you drag tables onto a canvas, import the list you already have in Excel, and let automatic distribution do the first pass. Adjusting a seat is one drag, and undo is always there.

Stop copying guest data between tools. Response collection, the seating chart and door check-in are one product. A guest who confirms on your response page is already in the chart, already counted, and already carries their dietary note and plus-one. Nothing is rekeyed, so nothing drifts out of sync.

Give the venue what it actually needs. Export a print-ready seating plan in a choice of templates and page sizes for the floor team, and a spreadsheet guest list for the caterer. Both come from the same chart, so the paper and the screen always agree.

Chase fewer people. Share one link or scannable code and let guests find their own name, confirm or decline, bring a plus-one and answer your custom questions. Branded invitation, confirmation and reminder emails go out in your own wording, and response analytics show where the list stands.

Work with your client and your venue, safely. Invite collaborators by email with edit access, or view-only access when you want feedback without the risk of someone moving a table. Everyone works from the current version rather than an emailed attachment.

Know the room is right before the doors open. A table capacity calculator sizes the layout to the headcount, areas, walls, text and icons let the chart match the real venue, and on the night guests are scanned in from the code on their invitation so you can see who has actually arrived.
