Go into the next change review with a zone for every machine. Cell Register reads the CMMS export, maintenance asset list or commissioning register you already keep and places each asset in a zone class: cell, line, plant supervisory, site business or safety. It derives a target security level from the class and raises it where remote access is declared.

Know what a wrong action costs. For each asset you see what it acts on physically and how far a wrong action reaches: a person in the cell, a batch, a line or a release. Adaptive controllers are counted separately from fixed-program ones, and so are the remotely reachable assets.

Take duties, not opinions, to the integrator. Tick the regimes that reach you and each asset carries the rows that attach: asset-owner duties under IEC 62443, the NIST SP 800-82 overlay, EU AI Act deployer duties where a controller adapts, and what the owner holds under the EU Machinery Regulation. Supplier rows are written as questions to ask, never as your duty.

Start without a platform on your network. The register runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere until you save.
